A Very Personal Note from the Owner of Happy Six

For those of you who don't know, there were times in my childhood when
food was an issue. To feel the kind of hunger that gnaws at you for
days is something most of us can't imagine. I have been there, and
those memories will stay with me forever. Had it not been for the
charity of others, I am certain that I would not be alive today and now
able to help others who are in a similar desperate situation. It is for
this heartfelt reason that I have chosen the Los Angeles Regional
Foodbank as the cause for this year's Happy Six charity event.

Please join me and the Happy Six crew on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 for
our first annual THE HAPPYEST DAY OF THE YEAR! charity event. Help us
help others by bringing a non-perishable food item or by making an
in-store donation of $5 to the LA Regional Foodbank. As my way of
thanking you, I am offering special discounts on nearly all of our
merchandise to all those who donate. So come spread the happiness and
know that your donation will mean so very much to someone in great
need--as I was once that person.
